Where is the documentation?

The Help page describes how to use Band-O-Rama.

To view the Help page, open the Navigation Panel (click the menu button at the top left) and click Help.

How do I navigate?

After signing in, open the Navigation Panel using the menu button in the upper left corner. All the choices are there.

What if I lose my password?

User names are, as in many social media sites, used to uniquely identify a user. In this system, the unique identifier is your email address.

Your password can be whatever you like, though it is recommended that you use a "strong" password, that you can remember. One way to create a password that is strong is to use a phrase (like 23Skidoo). Passwords are not stored in the system... they are one-way encrypted so even if someone were to gain access to the database, they could not read your password. No financial information is ever stored, so there is little risk from password thieves. Of course, if you are an administrator, if someone gets your password he or she could delete all your hard work... so it is best to keep your password secure.

If you mean "forget", well, you can get a password reset by selecting "Forgot Password" on the Navigation Panel. The system will send you a temporary password in a link you can use to reset your password.

Can I register more than one band?

Sure. As long as the name of the band doesn't conflict with an existing band. First come, etc.

What happens if my band name is taken?

Fight to the death. With lawyers. But in our system, unless our lawyers say otherwise, it's first come, first served. On the other hand, you won't get away with using "The Rolling Stones" for long... unless you're one of The Rolling Stones, of course.

More questions...

You send 'em... we answer 'em. The best and most frequent get printed here. If your question is included, we'll give your band a month free!

How can I upload tracks?

First you need to add a new song. Once it has been saved, the button that lets you upload charts and recordings for that song appears.
